After 35 years living across the bridge in Wiltshire and both retired, we decided to move back to Wales to be closer to family who have migrated West over the last decade. Sadly, we had to leave our friends behind.
The name “Bungalow Bill” was inspired by my brother in law, Steve, who has been taking the wee wee out of people before he was born.
We bought a bungalow to down-size and even though the bungalow is in great condition, we all put our stamp on our nest. Having spent my life in the electronics industry, there will inevitably be a smattering of electronic projects, lots of DIY and my latest passion – upcycling furniture.
June on the other hand wants to use her retirement time to try different crafts, as she has never had the time or space in the past for such a pass time.
When we moved in, we had a 10 year plan to get the place as we wanted it. Now, less than halfway through, most of the heavy and expensive work has been completed.
